ChatGPT is a large language model (LLM) developed by OpenAI, and based on GPT (Generative Pre-trained Transformer) architecture. It is designed for natural language understanding and generation, making it capable of engaging in conversations and providing information, answering questions, and generating text based on the input it receives. The LPS approved GPT for staff is Google's Gemini, no LLM is currently approved for student use.
